Christmas vacation in UTAH!!!!

This is the first Christmas vacation away from home that we have had in 11 years! I wanted to spend it with my sisters and they were all going to be in Utah this year. We packed up the kids and took our 10 hour drive. Luckily the roads were pretty good o the way down and we made it with no delays. The day after we arrived it dumped BUCKETS of snow. YAY!!!!!

For those of you who get snow in winter I envy you. I was soooo happy to be in LOTS of snow!! It brought back great memories of my childhood when we were growing up in Colorado. I thought I'd give my kids a little taste of what it was like to live in snow and all the wonderful things that we would do. The first was building snow caves. Of course, way back when, we didn't use shovels to dig out our forts, but we cheated and used them to build this one. It wasn't that big but I could squeeze into it so that's saying quite a bit.

Wyatt and Israel were trying to make snow angels but the snow was a little wet and heavy. They were having a ball in the snow.
Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

Dang I wish we could have seen you. We live about an hour southeast of Provo. Next time you are here we will come see you. What a cute family.
