The lights at Temple Square

I have always been a big fan of Temple Square especially after I served my mission there. I remember driving through Salt Lake when I was younger and always looking out for the temple. However I never got to see the lights until I served my mission there and It was absolutely breathtaking. I wanted the kids to have this experience and so we made it a day. We went to see the Joseph Smith movie (Absolutley wonderful!) at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and then we went to see the lights. It was even better than I remembered. They have so many more new things. I could've stayed there all night. Unfortunately the kids got really cold.

The Family

My beautiful girls

This was so pretty. The pond had Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus with these bulbs that looked like bubbles on top of the water. My camera just wasn't good enough to capture the image.

Wyatt, Tealani, and Israel showing familial love!

The gorgeous tabernacle. One of the organists was rehearsing that night.

This is Steve Kennerley's parents. We ran into them and their son Karl and Daughter Serina and her family. We went up to see the CHristus and there they were. Serina and Dylan just moved up to the US from New Zealand. Brother and Sister Kennerley are going to be the new MTC president in the Phillipines. How awesome is that!

This is how dad carried Nyah around Temple Square.
This was such a great night. I wish we could do this every year.

Hey, I love Temple Square, too. By the way, did you hear Pres. McPhie died last month?

We just got back from Utah too. It was fun, but cold. We didn't get to walk around with the lights on the Square, but the boys saw them from the car. I'll be blogging later so you can check it out.
