14 wonderful years

August 10th was our 14th anniversary. we had planned on taking a trip somewhere, just the two of us, but budget and time didn't permit this year. So we made a practical choice-we went back to Shelton! They have this great resort on Hood Canal, Alderbrook, that I worked at for a couple of summer's and it is absolutely gorgeous out there (plus they were having a great deal). So we made the reservations, along with an appointment to see my podiatrist and Wyatt's orthodontist, and off we went! We had to take the kids at least one night. They loved it there. They love walking the docks and swimming in the pool. It was a great weekend. The kids then got shuffled off to stay with friends and family while John and I enjoyed a night alone.
I just want to tell him that he is the greatest person I have ever met. This man has so much patience (you have to when you are married to me). He puts in a long day at work and when he gets home he always asks how he can help me out. He is the greatest dad, husband, and friend. It has been the funnest (is that even a word?) 14 years of my life! Thanks babe!
