While reading Nie Nie's blog (it's a great blog!) I came across a picture of a cake that was made especially for her. This blog is called Conversations with a Cupcake and man is it a good blog full of wonderful recipes. I tried three of them this weekend and loved all of them. Our first recipe to try was the soft pretzel recipe and it was, as Nyah called it, the BOMB DIGGITY BOMB!!! I couldn't stop feasting on them. It took all my self control to save them for the kids who were soon coming home from school. I wanted them ALL!! But alas, I waited for them to return, which luckily for them, wasn't too long after the pretzels came out of the oven. They walked in the door, smelled the aroma, and drifted right on over to the kitchen where, to their happiness, lie a cookie sheet of freshly baked pretzels. The looks of utter joy as they devoured their pretzels was more than I could bare. I scooped those kids up in my arms and gave them each a kiss and a hug and thought to myself... "Shazaam! I'm a good mom!" And I owe it all to the pretzel!

Oh, that's funny. "Shazaam!" You make me laugh. Only two days until I see you!!!! Yea!!!!!! I can't wait to go up there. I really hope this sickness goes away. I love this post. And good picture of you and your kids.
Bomb Diggity Bomb! You guys make me crack up! I wish I could be up there when Nezhone and Mom are, but money, money, money...it's not a rich man's world. I really need to try them. I have been the baking woman lately and just tried an apple-toffee blondie recipe that was oh so yummy for my tummy!I need to start posting them for everyone to try.
