Christmas

This Christmas was our first Christmas in Pasco (last year we braved the roads to Utah). It was a good Christmas but I am glad it's over. This Christmas season consisted of...

Decorating the tree and house...

Doing a little class service project (delivering food to the needy) for Tealani...

and snowball fights (that contained more ice than snow) at the bus stop...

And Christmas Day consisted of...

John watching a little (okay... a lot of) basketball...

Opening gifts...

and playing Battleship.

Our gift to the kids was a bit of money. So the day after Christmas we braved the busy stores. The kids came away with more gifts than we would have bought them (gotta love the after Christmas sales!)

This was dad's purchase...

and here's mine (if you can't tell, I'm filling the van up with gas).

Then it was off to Taco Bell for a little lunch.

I think I can truly say that this year was probably the first year I felt like Scrooge. I am glad that it is all over! Here's hoping that this year seems to go by a little slower so that Christmas seems further apart. Bah Humbug!

I never thought I would say this, but I miss Taco Bell. We don't have one here in our town.

I'm thinking it's time to start giving my kids money for Christmas. They are getting too hard to buy for. I like your idea.

Super cute pics of you with your kids.

This was a cute post! What a fun Christmas despite your Scrooge attitude. :) Everyone looks happy. I love how you took the camera around while you were shopping! That's hilarious. So John gave you gas for the car, and you gave him IBuprophen? Sounds romanitc!

I think I gave him the headache and he made me drive, so all was fair. Life is definitely always romantic with FOUR kids! AND there's nothing Ibuprofen can't cure!

Yeah you BIG SCROOGE! I really do want to come and do a run with you up there. It sounds like the rock-n-roll run is out for the year. I wish I would have remembered to sign up for the other one. Have fun training.

Cajsa- You crack me up! I suffered from a little bit of the scrooge myself this Christmas too, glad to know that I am not alone.
