The Haircut

Do you remember these long beautiful locks of hair?
Well now they are reduced to these shorter locks of hair.
I cannot say that I was too happy about this change in my daughter. Number one, it makes her look older...and who wants their daughter to get older faster? I would not be one of those people. Number two, dancing hula is just not as beautiful or look as graceful without the long flowing locks...I mean she is beautiful and graceful, but it's just not the same. Number three, she hasn't got the knack of doing her own hair yet so most of the time it's "mom to the rescue" which makes Sunday's a little more hectic, but I'm making her learn VERY quickly.
I must admit though, She is still as beautiful as ever and I had to let her make her own choice (although I did tell her she had to grow it out again for next year's hula competition). Te'alani you are gorgeous!!!

I have to say, I was sad when I saw her short hair last Sunday too. But it does suit her face well. She looks very pretty.
