I was a little skeptical about putting Israel in football this year as he's never played before, but it has actually been really great for him. He hates the hour and a half of practice but loves the games. He had his first scrimmage, which I missed, last Thursday, but I was able to see him in the jamboree. He did great! He is the biggest guy on the team and so they have expected a lot out of him, but he's so soft hearted I was worried he wouldn't do so well. There are times when I am completely surprised though. He has actually held back two kids at a time on the defensive and offensive lines which I hear are the trenches, where a lot of the gruelling work is done in football. I love to watch him though and I think he's really liking it-if they'd just get rid of the practice hours!

I think football is really great for boys but I agree that the practices seem to go on forever!!!! I bet he is an awesome lineman-it's a lot of pressure being the biggest. :)
I can't wait for the boys and Kalena to start playing sports. I am going to be a lot like you and shouting for them all the time. I think Cliff will be the calm one.
