John was so excited to take her out for her birthday lunch. He even had me get her out of class a little early and the rest of his co-workers covered for him and told him NOT to come back to work, but to spend it with his daughter. Nyah thought it was great! She LOVES to have lunch with her daddy. He wanted to take her somewhere where they sing happy birthday and give her a little dessert...well, Red Robin was the place to go.
So, she ate a little pizza and fries and by the time they came and sang to her and gave her her sundae, she was full. She had a couple little bites and then mommy ate it (okay, I gave a couple bites to John).
Here is the cake I made. Not as fancy as Te'alani's cake from November, but Nyah loved it. I only had a couple hours to get it done-baking time and all.
Unfortunately for my kids, I am not a big party person. I don't think I would know what to do with a bunch of 6 year old girls at my house so Corissa came over again this year and we at ice cream and cake-all before dinner!
Just some of the things I LOVE about my Nyah.
* She gives the best hugs and kisses
* She always tells me I'm beautiful (always good for my ego)
* She loves to learn new things
* She wants to be a basketball player when she grows up
* She adores her daddy
* She's a social bug
* She makes me laugh with all the things she says
Happy Birthday Nyah!!

Man, the reason you are in denial is because you are getting old! HAHAHA! Good cake! By the way, I am almost done with the dresser now, Thanks!
She is so cute and I love everything about Nyah that you mentioned! Happy Birthday to a sweet sweet girl that also loves to play with my Porter. :)
Okay, I am not posting anymore pics of my pathetic cakes for my kids. LOL! That cake is awesome.
