Just a little nickname one of our elders gave to Nyah when she was just a wee one. Since we have had Kekoa in our family life has changed just a bit for my little bird. She is no longer the baby...no longer gets all of mommy's time (mostly since she is in school all day now)...and no longer gets away with as much as she used to. She has tried to keep her status somewhat by talking her "baby" talk which makes NO ONE happy. We have to keep reminding her that she is a big girl now and needs to speak like one. I think it's working...or maybe I've tuned it out like everything else. But Nyah will always make me happy. Just the other day she wrote me this wonderful note...
I got a little worried when she said I was a wonderful granma...wasn't sure where that was going.
In fact, she is always writing me great notes.
I love this little girl. I miss her during the day. I miss her chatterbox ways and all the nonsense she talks about. But I love that she is growing into such a beautiful girl with a BIG heart. She loves being a big sister and I love that about her. Always positive...maybe I should take some lessons from my baby girl. Nyah bird...I LOVE you!

I miss Nyah Bird. She was so great to play with Porter. I love the pictures of her with Kekeo. He's getting so big. Give your girls a hug from me. Love you guys! Love the picture of your kids at the top of the blog. Israel is giving a Tyler look! :)
