Oh how we love our Sundays...after church that is. Church is not a great experience for us. It starts at 11, just as Kekoa should be going down for a nap. So the whining starts before we leave and it becomes a great battle during sacrament meeting to get him to sleep. Then he only naps for about 45 minutes. When John is gone for his High Council duties that makes it worse. When I play the organ...let's just say that I had to go down, with my bare feet (organist don't play with shoes on FYI unless you have organ shoes), and take my child out during the first talk because the kids couldn't keep him quiet. By the time church ends I am wondering if it is even worth it to go back. But, as I watch and listen to my older kids I know that it's definitely worth every terrible Sunday morning.
Needless to say, a nice nap is sometimes in store for some of us. Ain't she sweet?
Trying to entertain him during Sunday School. It kept him quiet until he decided he wanted my phone so he could listen to music.
The kids entertaining themselves by painting. I think more paint ended up on my table. Meanwhile Kekoa and I decided to take videos and watch them. Definitely entertaining. Wyatt was...well who knows where...and John was at a meeting. I have to admit, Sundays are the most relaxing day of the week. Love 'em!
And that's how our Sundays roll around these parts, folks.
