Is She Really 10 Already?

Oh, how the years go by....

Te'alani turned ten on the 21st. I can't believe how time has flown. I was just thinking a few days ago that next year she will be in 5th grade-the last of her elementary years, then off to middle school and 3 years later...well, you get the picture. It 's amazing how quickly they change and yet so exciting to see them become the great kids they are.

Te'alani I love you because....

*you love to help me out when I cook (I really should let you do it more often)

*you are a great friend to others

*you love to sit and bead/scrapbook/craft with me

*you LOVE sports and everything sporty

*you love to play with your brothers and sister

*you are always telling me how beautiful I am

*you are a daddy's girl (I adore that)

*you are just you!!

Happy Birthday sweet girl!
Unfortunately I couldn't get her birthday video to download. But here's the birthday cake I made her. She wanted a big flower for a cake but I decided it would be more fun for me if I made a little Te'alani to top the cake. John said, and I quote, "that's a really great looking cake honey, but that looks nothing like Tealani." Really? 'Cause the Tealani I know is short and pudgy!!! DUH!!! I'm not a sculptor!-Of course I kept THAT reply to myself and turned back to admire my handiwork.

I am laughing at your artwork/sculpting skills. The little T'alani is cute. But I have to agree with John! Ha! :) Cute pictures of her when she was a baby. So fun! Before you know it she'll be in High SchooL!

Man, that cake DID turn out GREAT!!! Has Nezhone seen it yet? She would be impressed. I think I need to start doing fondant. It is probably a lot easier than what I do.

Hey Cajsa, I linked over here from your comment on my blog. You have such a cute family and I think Te'alani is such a beautiful girl. It's hard to see them grow up so fast isn't it? I love that she's a sporty girl!
