Well the month of April was busy with Spring Break, Israel's birthday, and who knows what else?! It just seems to have flown by.
Our Spring Break was not spent in a tropical paradise like I wanted, but on the Oregon Coast where it was sunny (yay!) but cold (boo!). My kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I got some great pictures. Te'alani, with her camera that she got for Christmas also got in a few good shots (when she wasn't taking them of herself...I kind of got in that action as well). So here they are.
We were a little worried that the log wouldn't hold. It had a nice bend in the middle as John walked over. The kids played on that thing for about 10 minutes.
The little man chillin' 'cause it was sooo cold with that ocean breeze.
Te'alani and her cousin Renee.
Just me and my man!
So...I'm guessing "Israel Roolz"
See, I told you I got camera happy on myself. Had to get some photos with the kids because whenever John takes them they're blurry.
The girls in front of The Haystack
Wyatt having Israel take pics of him. There were many poses but they will not be posted...unless there's a demand for them.
My poor Nyah was so sick for the first couple of days of break. She just gets car sick and cannot recover for a couple of days.
Got this cute Osh Kosh jacket at Goodwill for $1.50. John said it looked a little Brokeback Mountain-ish which did not make me happy. I told him it just looks like Wyoming or Montana style. Either way, it was warm and, I thought, cute.
Flying Matthew's kite. It was incredibly windy that day.
He hated the sand, hated the feeling of the sand on his feet.
Seaside Aquarium. Can I say...LAME.
Tillamook Cheese Factory. I was sorely disappointed after all the rave reviews. The kids were bored until we ordered the ice cream, then things picked up a bit, until it was all gone. Afterwards it was another 45 minute trip back to Seaside. Next time I'm just buying a few containers of their ice cream and calling it good.
Next we were off to Fort Stevens. The kids had never seen anything like it so they had a great time exploring every nook and cranny of that fort.
Poser for sure! By the way, that would be Wyatt not me!
Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come!?
Columbia River Maritime Museum was one of our last stops before we headed up to Olympia.
Oh happy day when Kekoa is sleeping in the car. Te'alani took a few of those kinds of pictures too.
